Before the shops open on this beautiful sunny Sunday I've decided to pay a visit to the prettiest cafe in town....Peggy Porschen! I would love to design a cake shop or ice-cream parlor and I think whoever designed this place did a fab job!

They have matched the Christmas decorations perfectly with the pastel Pink facade.

Inside the slightly more nude shade of Pink works wonderfully with the Ghost chairs and of course the CAKES!

The prettiest clear chandelier continues the feminine feel.

As we are only a couple of weeks away from Christmas I thought I would get into the spirit of things and try out their Gingerbread cupcake...it did not disappoint! The sponge was lovely and moist, the gingerbread man slightly chewy (in a good way!) and the buttercream super sweet!

I washed it down with a hot chocolate, which in hindsight might have been a bit of a sugar overload! I think a Jasmine tea next time.

Christmas cakes on sale.

The outdoor seating area was still in good use even though it's mid December! I think I'll be back in the Spring to enjoy the weather getting warmer and their Champagne cake which is topped with my favourite chocolate... Champagne truffles!
