Week 7 and the bulk of the work being carried out was the tiling. The main plumbing and central heating had been completed with the vertical radiator and the towel radiator fitted too. It was starting to resemble a home. I just carried on with the layers of white paint which just seemed to be never ending!

These Victorian style tiles are from Tile Mountain, but they don;t seem to be in stock anymore so you can get similar more expensive ones from Topps Tiles.

I chose the classic metro tile for the wall by the bath/ shower from Tile Mountain, these went up leaving space below for the bath.

The bedrooms and skirting lay waiting whilst I decided what I was deciding what to with the floor. Sand myself, get someone in and what colour to paint.
