The final stop of our trip was to The Pig near bath. I love 'the Pig' hotel chain, it's like having your own country house house without the maintenance. I'm still yet to stay a night, but I'll keep my eyes peeled for a good deal. I hadn't been to the one in Bath before so I had a good snoop about and just my luck the restaurant had emptied so I could take lots of photos without anyone getting in the way! The vibe is relaxed and rustic with mixed glasses and chairs and lots of botanical references. As we had just eaten we hung out in the bar in some comfy armchairs. The perfect spot for a couple of Bloody Mary's, tea and bar snacks. The salmon pate was so good I had to order a couple of times! You can have a good look at the interior below...
